3) Multiple holes in inter atrial septum ( fenestrated ASD) closed with single device.

4) ASD device after release. The hole is completely sealed by device. It stays like that for entire life.

The procedure is performed in catheterization laboratory just like angiography. (Cath Lab). More than one hole in inter atrial septum can be closed with single device.

It is generally performed in preschool age. Even in adults and elderly, it is procedure of choice.

Hospital stay is generally 2 to 3 days and post operative recovery is fast. There are no scar marks on body.
