Cine loops show device closure of patent ductus arteriosus. The procedure is performed in catheterization laboratory just like angiography. (Cath Lab).

It is generally performed anytime after birth if patient is symptomatic. Present patient was an infant ( around 6 months) at the time of surgery.

Hospital stay is generally 2 to 3 days and post operative recovery is fast. There are no scar marks on body.
